I Built This Garden For Russ

Was great talking to my old mate Hoskings (Peter Hosking) today. Im super happy to announce that Pete and Carley are now the proud parents of Evie May....Hoskings, its sounds like and looks like they’ve landed the perfect daughter, nice one skins best get on the case for number two now guys. We touched on a number of subjects today, babies, Mr B’s Ice Cream Shop (more soon), Escorts and strangely enough the ‘fact’ that Lenny Kravitz once worked as a landscape gardener for Russ Abbott...yep its true and this pic proves it!!!

Saturday Night and Everybody's Having Fun

The Bosuns Locker breaks its last funky beat this Saturday. I’m proud to have been part of the Bosuns unique make up for 13 years or more, playing in bands ‘Entitled’, ‘Unit 13’, and ‘Bugga’ plus dj’ing as numerous acts, 4foot&choppy, Freeweelin, Austin Powers and Abba tribute nights; all were great fun. Also great fun was working with all the millions of staff that have passed through the door but most of all working with Nigel Waller (owner), one of the most outrageous and original characters in the world...such a class act is Nigel that I started to write a soap opera about him and his nightclub. The series (The Locker) was based on true events from the club, so of which are so unbelievable they couldn’t be included even in the script.

On a much sadder note, Norman Walker aka Nigel Waller was due to be played by Dominic Knutton who died last week. Dominic was the only person I know that could have pulled off such a flamboyant character, I hope Dom is now playing his Basouki and Penny Whistle some place better. Keep ironing Dom.

To the future then, good luck Nigel with the Bosuns V3.1, onwards and upwards...quite literary!!!

Some Bangers

Lost season 3 has finished, and mighty fine it was too, so good in fact that I felt it necessary to text cousin Bill to discuss...this lead to him sending me his new Bebo page and me sending him a link to here....’Hello Bill’. A couple of minutes later I was spitting toothpaste out of my nose in a fit of giggles as I remembered one of the first sites I ever built; a site for Billy Mates... Enjoy – http://www.bonkersville.fsnet.co.uk/bill.htm

Underwear Stealing Transvestite

Yep that’s right, this evenings background blog writing music is supplied by the ground breaking genesis that is Syd Barrett, these songs bring back memories of marathon 8 hour jam sessions learning the guitar aged 14, right through to granddads funeral 2006. By no means a sad event, some sad moments but mostly a great day out in the sweltering heat of London with the family followed by the funniest restaurant meal ever...and that takes me full circle back to bikes...brilliant.

Today saw the official launch of Office V4.0 for Rorschach & t2design – its stunning, well done Richard Wilson and Simon on your building skills, Chris Thompson on your design skills and a big thank-you to Kate and Scott for putting up with me in Office V3.1.

Enjoy the pictures and be assured that the much needed work enthusiasm jab will start taking its immediate effect in the new undisclosed location of what is the best office so far.

Man United 2 - Chelsea 1

You can challenge the keeper!! That’s the amazing new revelation to come out of today's match on Pro Evo 6. Having played Pro Evo at least once a day for the last six years (a merit to the game in itself) we have never once been able to challenge the goal keeper when the ball is high in the air...until today... A forth minute goal from Carrick was enough for me to take the lead and go on to win the match and the attached ‘LMB’ * trophy. The new office is nearly ready to move in to, this will boast a brand new 32” flat screen HD tv with the xbox 360 supplying the soccer ball,

I have to say I'm looking forward immensely to beating Scott on this new setup!!

Gypsy Hole

Writing this with the exuberant and simultaneously hypnotic sounds of Jimi Hedrix in the background – cant believe I missed the history of rock on BBC1 last night....too busy thinking about the melon off I guess?

Hit the street of St Ives today looking for trainers for Brody, came back with a pair of cool converse with sharks on, then went to the Duchy Capri Club meeting at Flambards. The kids cried and it rained despite it being red hot and super sunny everywhere else in Cornwall. Saw a few good cars but couldn’t stay long as everyone was moody and crying – did laugh to myself when I remembered the office insult of the week ‘Gypsy Hole’ although I think this may be substituted this week for ‘Piss Kidney’.

Melon Off

Tonight will be my first timed attempt at a Melon Off, i will post the time in my next entry.

Austen Vs Borat

Last Peep Show last night, Jez pissed himself in the church and I nearly pissed myself watching him piss his self...brilliant

Took Austen to B&Q today, I will never take him to the pluming isle again!! It was like the extras in Borat - “what's this do daddy?” was asked about every single plumb fitting in the universe... Still its nice that his trouser now fit. Spent half a day at Jeffs garage fitting bits back on the never ending mk2 escort zetec project I have going on, its looking amazing and not far off being started up and there's even talk of the mot being carried out soon? (more info)

Left the garage to watch the FA Cup final at Scott and Kates – crap game, great result 1-0 to Chelsea (Drogba 116).

Its an evening in with Laura Ann Duffin, Home and Away, Blush wine and the latest episode of Lost - I wonder if Bills still a massive Lost fan?

Not a lot else happening today so I’ll sign off with a quote from the mighty Quincy ME

“The apparent cause of death was a short temper and a desperate need to solve the problems of our society”

Excellent News!

M'great mate (and colleague) Mr Tom Barton has allowed m'self to quite literally contribute in an hilarious manner to his newly constructed blog type thing. Incredibly exciting news and other kinds of article type malarkey is sure to ensue...

Welcome

Here it is, the first post of many, a blog if you will.....I believe this was once called a diary?

I'm hoping that between myself and my good colleague we can keep this 'blog' updated with amusing anecdotes and quips of daily events, tales of gloom and sorrow, events of joy and glee and perhaps the old work related fact, car story, bitch about some bitching bitch or somat and "amusing funnies".

Not a lot happening today, had a crazy hippy lunch with my sister (Kate Barden) of vegetarian tandoori cutlet and onion bhaji with lime pickle - this made my guts crazy and has since induced an unscheduled evening poo.

Had a pretty good iTunes battle with Scott in office v3.1 today - I won with The Frog Chorus, I think Scott may disagree with his Carpenters into Rainbow cross fade though.

Dion and Helena came to the office to borrow the massive bass amp, good to see them again. Updated Three S Films website for Mitch - www.threesfilms.com

Keith fitted electrics to office v4.0 - and I have to say, the best office yet by a fair distance!!
Oh yeah, Nigel phoned me last night with a definite date for closing the Bosuns - big story to follow......as well as links to the famous 'Locker' script.....which also leads to tales of woe.....another big story to follow.

Im off to slap on a Columbo and polish some car parts that arrived today
